I would say it's good to go barnes 120tsx over varget ahooting a tikka t3x 20in barrel. Not sure on speed yet will test Sunday.

RL15. Nosler 120's, Blue Tips if you have them, otherwise the regular NBT's.

If you go up to 140's, the Accubond, NBT, or Partition all work very well.

Seems to me the entire .284 family shoot extremely well.

Gonna start on some 7mm08 loads soon, just curious what a good powder start is. Have read a lot that Varget is really good with it or but others really like Staball 6.5 or Ramshot Big Game. This is all kinda new to me so I dont have non shotgun powders laying around and cant really afford to buy a few different ones to start with lol. Was planning on using 140-150 Nosler AB or same range in tipped gamekings to start.

I got varget to shoot for me but im way above max with that said I have zero pressure sign so i was ok barnes likes a jump and fast i did test some 4064 but it didn't pan out

I shoot a tikka and a Remington LVSF

48grs of h4350 with 140's

46.5grs H4350 with 150's

my bergara 7mm-08 didn't like anything 140 grain... but it seemed to do great with 120 NBT and staball 6.5, I gotta switch my guns after deer season because trying to shoot bobcats and coyotes it kinda makes a mess
