We found a true gem, honestly by mistake. In april 2020, my wife and daughter had to meet s client at bass pro in sevierville. I had just ordered a stoeger 3020 and needed some TSS. I told her it woukd be about 45.00 a box and she came back with 4 boxes and said it was only 20.00 a box. It said federal 3rd degree and had TSS stamped on the box. Couldnt figure out why it so much cheaper until i did my research and found out it combines copper plated 5 lead shot, flite control 6 shot, and tss 7 shot. I ordered some browning pure tss and some federal as well and went to patterning. The 3rd degree won hands down. Twice i have missed birds with the tss (probably because its too tight) only to dust them on the follow up with the 3rd degree. My son killed his bird today at 48 yards with it.
Now its the only thing we use. It was meant to be a great "mid range" shell but all i can say is its a real bargain. I ordered 2 more boxes tonight for just under 5.00 a shell- yes i know thats still high- but premium tss shells are about 11.00 each. Just passing along a little gem i lucked into.
