My best score was this 10 pt in 2004 at age 42. He is listed in the Tennessee Registry at 143 1/8 — I think gross was around 145 — very symmetrical. He field dressed at 185 lbs and was aged at 3.5 yrs. I didn't have a 4-wheeler then was hunting by myself and I could barely move the next day after dragging him out.

#2 was this year with this deer which I measured a gross green score at just over 143". Unfortunately processors scales were broken — I measured his girth at 45" — I believe his live weight was over 230 lb.

That's what I thought he would score. He's a dandy. Mine was also 150 but his 11th pt runs back his head which is 4 inches making him 154 gross. Not official. Did you have yours officially scored?
I did not. I would like to have a couple officially scored but I've never took the time to try and locate someone.

Some great deer killed in this thread

I've never had any of mine scored. I have 4-5 around the same size as these two. My heaviest deer I was 27yrs old, I was 40 and 42 when I killed these two, I'm 44 now.

Biggest in the middle, killed in 2022, I was 55. 151.5 inches. #2 is on the left I was 42, scored 141.25. Both killed in the same field. The third is around 115 and I had mounted because of the double throat patch. To me the best part is the 140 was a 75 yard shot, the 151 was 65, and the third was 40. I don't like sniping 300yard shots, I want them as close as I can get them, it feels more like hunting to me, and I feel I have really fooled a wiley adversary. I don't have a problem with anyone who likes the longer shots, that is their prerogative, and it takes a different skill se, so more power to them.

I was 28 now turning 61 very soon lol This buck took up my truck bed could not close tail gate lol. Score doesn't matter to me. The memories of chasing this buck for 4 years in Upstate NY and finally killed him. Aged at 7 1/2 years old from what they said.

Sounds like a good field!

Killed the 8 at 48. Killed the 10 at 39. The 8 actually scores higher at low 130's and the 10 right at 130.
Was going through the post and looking for deer killed in the 90's. Those bucks are above 130"....in Tennessee......with inflation. My favorite/biggest was a 12 point (top) in 1995.
