I've developed an unhealthy fixation on cheap Barlow pattern knives, mostly Imperial Irelands and new 278s. Has anybody else come down with this illness?

I never got into the Barlow pattern. Something makes me think @MUP might like them.I've developed an unhealthy fixation on cheap Barlow pattern knives, mostly Imperial Irelands and new 278s. Has anybody else come down with this illness?
Rough Ryder (Chinese) makes some decent quality knives for the price. They have several Barlow pattern knives.

My dad is a huge CASE knife collector. He started with dr's knives, then moved to all stag handled knives, then Eisenhower's and now he's been into barlows for about the last 3 years. He's impossible to shop for but I found this sheet of old barlows still in the plastic about two months ago and bought it for his birthday.
