I don't want a front sight post on any AR, but that's a great price for a .308.

I'm on my second DPMS .308 and they are great rifles.
I had one that I ordered built at dpms years ago, lr308 with a stainless fluted 24 inch barrel. Had jp trigger installed and a couple of other upgrades. Very accurate rifle, will cloverleaf my handloads when I do my part.

An entry level 308, for under $700 from dpms is a good deal.

I sold my I sold LR-308AP4 in 2016 for $1100. I remember because the guy I sold it to said, "Well now that this is mine, I can tell you that when Hillary gets elected this will be a $3000 rifle." I replied with "Hillary isn't getting elected." 🤣

It is a good price for anyone wanting an AR-10. Because there is no mil spec like there is with the AR, you would be hard pressed to buy the components to build one from scratch for that.
