Kiffin has went on the record several times about how difficult it was working under Saban as Alabama's OC during a three-year run, and perhaps that's the reason Grubb decided the grass in the SEC was not greener.

When I read that he was interviewed in Tuscaloosa I thought he was going to be the next OC. From what I read he's staying loyal to Kalen DeBoer who he's worked with for eight years.
He has a good offense in Washington and seems to be a good OC.

When I first read he was in line for the job I thought he was not going to work out. His stats look good but put him a SEC environment and those stats go to heck.

Saban will get the right man.

Funny how he only tells his visions afterwards eh? He could have blessed us with his presence when he was a candidate and informed us of that. But that doesn't fit his MO
You know, now that you mention it, maybe he's not the great psychic. When he predicts something before it happens he's hitting around 3%, but when he predicts something after it happens he's around 90%. (Most people can predict what's already happened at 100%, but we're not talking about a normal person here.)

Didn't Saban "think" he WAS the right man? I mean, he had him for an interview and offered him the job, right?
Apparently that is what happened.

What I said was "When I first read he was in line for the job I thought he was not going to work out"

I never said Saban was not going to make a offer. Just when I first read he was in line for the job that he was not going to work out.

In the end it looks like I was right LOL

No, He would just rather stay where there is no chance of winning a SEC championship.
