The real blessings in hunting is experiencing nature in all its glory! People who never spend time in the outdoors don't understand what they are missing.
X1000. Just got in, activity was low but sitting out in a cold misty rain was wonderful! I've got a covey of about 8 quail that provided some entertainment to watch nearby. God sure knew what he was doing to say the least.

Well, it's over here. I really look back at these pics and videos with much more gratitude than in years past it seems. Getting older will bring a new realization to things you may have once took for granted. Here's to next year friends!
I get that as well. I am thankful that I was able to hunt in every way every time that I wanted to. I look back over this year of challenges. Turned 70 this year. Started working at a new property this year. Got a tick borne illness this year. Fell out with heat exhaustion during that hot spell in the summer. And had a knee replaced in august. Still I was in the woods basically as much as I wanted got meat in the freezer. With all of the challenges 2022 was okay. But I'm glad it's behind me I'm looking forward to 2023 and the big bucks that will be running around next fall.
