Just wondering if anyone else has one of these? One just happened to follow me home from a trip to the gun shop to " look " Lol. 20 gauge , 22 inch barrel , inertia driven and 6 pd. I love the feel and look of the gun. Shot it a few times Tuesday between rain and functioned well. Just wondering if anyone else has set one of these up? Anyone use a meadow creek mount ? Do you like the vent rib mount

I have one of the original Weatherby "turkey" special autoloaders, and absolutely love it.
Have had it for somewhere between 5 & 10 yrs. It came with a picatinny rail, on which I mounted a Burris Fastfire. Mine has a non-rib barrel, which I preferred (less visible side "foot print" to a turkey).

First one I have heard of and seen. Looks sharp and I like the specs (bbl length, weight, etc). Which choke threads?
Same as Mossberg 500, I have a Carlson 575 on hand. That is what I shot the other day and will probably use in the gun.

Meadow creek with a fast fire 3 and drop a 570 in it if your shooting tss
I have seen guys say in videos they like the meadow creek better than the sight closer to them( better filed of view) Do you like it better? Looks like a solid mount from a really good company. I am leaning towards trying it on this gun or shooting bead. Whichever my son likes better. Thanks!

I really appreciate your response, I believe I will order one of his combos. Seems to save some money that way . My son just shot the gun and he really likes it. Poa and PoI are really close! Gun has cycled all low brass really well.

I put a Meadow Creek mount and a FF3 on a Remington 1187 last year and I really like it.

Was just thinking, how amazing, we're now shooting 20 ga guns with a greater range than the 12 ga guns had before TSS came along.

And the "sights" we have on them today, maybe even more amazing.
Cannot imagine going back to just a blurry "bead" on the end of the barrel.

I'm late to the party, but am here now (almost). I just bought a Stoeger 3020 (5.5 lbs and 26" barrel) and it should come in this weekend. My Burris ff3 came in yesterday. As far as tss, I know nothing about. Will all chokes shoot tss, or do you need a special choke? My readings say all chokes are fine, just your preference on pattern. I'm pumped about the season

TSS prefers mildy restricted or more open chokes (just a little tighter than full choke), especially for turkey hunting where most shots are (or should be) 45 yards and under. Don't spend a bunch of money burning through expensive shells patterning as someone (likely several) has done the testing and can make a choke recommendation. For most 20G, I prefer .570-.575 constriction. I hunt with .575. Best of luck, suspect the weight reduction, shorter barrel and compactness of the gun will prevail with you as it has with so many.

I have had two Stoeger 3020, I still have the one with 26 inch barrel, I use a Carlson 575 non ported turkey choke in that gun as well as other guns with TSS. Nice even pattern and not too tight. Great turkey hunting pattern. I use a 585 out of my Retay that came with it. I don't like a super tight pattern for turkey hunting. That's just me.
