Don't give a damn about him or his daddy. Out of all the golden spoon brats why would this idiot even think to do something like this. Let's face it illegalities have taken place regardless. Spotlight and at night whether or not this is the buck. I'm sure his daddy will pay off whoever he has to. And his son will be in no trouble at all. Even though guilty he should lose hunting privileges for life. And the golden spoon ripped from his mouth and stuck up his arse.

I suspect they didn't go spotlighting deer in the bayous and creeks in MS looking for a deer. I bet Tyler made a bad shot (happens to us all sooner or later... myself included) legally.during hunting hours. In MS, tracking wounded deer with dogs is as much a sport as hunting itself... so the dogs were called in to track. When they got to the deer, it was still alive, then the dogs pushed into the water. It's not legal to shoot the deer at night, but I darn sure wouldn't want my wounded buck to get away... 3 choices... shoot it again at night (illegal). Back off and put the dogs back on it again in the morning, hoping it had died... or #3... call in a 'catch' dog to run the deer down, snap all 4 of its legs, and keep at bayed until Tyler could finish it off with a knife.

Too bad they didn't have a catch dog.

I'm sure the truth will come out eventually. Sure hope it ain't Tyler. Whoever it was that shot that deer needs a whoopin!
The left g2 on Tyler's buck looks shorter than the g3. Doesn't appear to be the case of the deer in this video, but who knows!

I don't want a deer to suffer and if this deer was mortally wounded with a good chance of running off into the abyss then I'll be the first to admit that sometimes "the right thing to do" doesn't always fall in line with the law.

But only a douchecanoe would publish a video of it like nothing happened. This hunt should have never been made public.

Agreed... dont post it like you are the great white hunter... there is a lot to be learned by yourself and others from mistakes...

When I gut shot my best buck 3 or 4 years ago, I posted the whole truth... that I backed out and waited 8 hours, brought in a dog who immediately got on the trail and took us to the deer who was still alive (barely), that we leashed the dog to a tree to be legal, then continued the pursuit for another 100 yards to put the finishing shot into the deer.

One of the worst experiences of my hunting career, but something I at least learned something from, and the deer was recovered and meat was salvaged and eaten.

The only thing that sits wrong with me about this story is the deer was allowed to hang dead until dry the next day just for photo ops. I have a sneaky suspicion Tyler didn't eat the meat himself... and if he didn't, why would you give away meat to another not fit to eat himself (or worse, discard the meat because you ruined it for pictures)

He didn't publish the video. Pretty sure he is cussing the person who let it leak! Tyler has already disabled comments on his instagram posts about the deer.
Please re read his comment. He's talking about Tyler publishing the first video not the cell video.
