I've watched these guys all fall and winter. I know how many, and which one is missing if they are not all there. I'm an avid hunter, but I've developed a soft spot and may not hunt them! Stupid emotions!
This is what makes you a sportsman and conservationist. You love to kill them but also love watching them, and may not hunt the home flock. If I had them in my yard I wouldn't hunt them either
