Curious, are you mobile hunting/changing locations or in a blind? I've had some success this year, lots of luck, from scouting and being mobile. When your on the mark it is great and when off…way off. Here in middle tn we are no doubt chasing local ducks with some sense. Keep at it!

I'm strictly talking about the draw results that came out a couple hours ago. 0 successful out of 21 applicants.

I've been successful for 2 out of the 3 Tier 2 draws this year. But there's a catch. I stick to the WMAs local to me here in Middle TN. Those are pretty crappy really but I know them well. This past weekend's hunt proved how terrible they are.

I am considerate of the fact I cannot practically hunt a west TN WMA I know nothing about. If drawn I'd probably mess up getting to a blind etc. So I don't put in for those. Those are theoretically better areas so I guess the applicant pool for those WMAs is much higher and the chances go way down I imagine. This new system is just really really great. SMH.

Waterfowl only, counting leftover drawings, I'm 3 for 5. But I only applied for blinds here in the east where I'd get the use out of them.

Drew 106 Camden again for Jan 17-20. Same blind I drew for Dec 20-23. We killed 4 greenheads today. 2 this morning and 2 at 2 this afternoon.

Well the early and late season draw everyone was starting at scratch so odds were poor to begin with. The middle season points came into play and I would assume it would take 3-4-5 to draw a spot at most places. The odds are slim anyway you look at it
