Sold/Expired Highly Allocated Bourbon

First off, I got the thumbs up from Blackbeard to post. Not sure if anyone has seen a couple of my previous posts, but I work at a liquor store in Lewisburg. This week, we received in some highly allocated bourbon. One of them a possible once in a lifetime opportunity, the other not so much. I receive nothing personally from the sale of product. I simply wanted to put this out there to seen if any Tndeer members might be interested. Mind you, I have notified several loyal customers as well.

The first, and less allocated of the two is Stagg Jr. We received a case of 6 and I have one bottle left and wanted to give members a shot before I sold it. I'll give it a couple days on here and then I'll sell to anyone that comes in and requests it. The price is $99.99 before tax.

The second is Rip Van Winkle 10 year 107 proof. I have not set a price and am doing a "silent auction" of sorts. Bottle will go to the highest bidder. Prices on the internet are crazy high on this one. I opted to let our loyal customers and "local" market dictate the price. If you're interested, pm me your name, number, and best offer. I will not divulge any offers with other bidders in an attempt to drive up the price.

I'm honestly not sure. We only got 1 bottle and I bought it. Internet prices are absurd at anywhere from $400-$3000. Aftermarket is absolutely ridiculous. Basically, whatever someone is willing to pay. That's the whole reason I was trying to make some of these items accessible to the "common man"….which is me . If the "non-present" owner gets involved this may or may not change

My brother in law is a whiskey/bourbon collector. Not so much that he doesn't drink it but enough that he has a nice collection and enjoys it. If you get anymore allocated stuff I'd be really interested in getting him something. I know a few he likes are weller, bulleit, blantons, woodford, eagle rare/buffalo trace. Not sure of the others but he has quite a few! I like it too in a much more grab a typical bottle kinda way.

We get Blanton and Eagle Rate about every other month so I'll be sure to keep you posted. Didn't get any of the Woodford allocated this go around, have never seen Bulleit allocated. Will keep an eye out

Nice of you to do this. Been out of the game for 7-8 years now. There is some good stuff out there and there's also mediocre stuff that people pay way too much for. Will never forget buying George T Stagg at a store for 10% off sticker so they could get it off their shelf. That's been a while back though.
