Clarksville fishing

My wife works at a hospital in Clarksville and she's on call today and tomorrow so I've came up to spend Thanksgiving with her. We're staying just off Exit 4 on I-24 and I just happen to bring a reel just in case she gets called in . I've looked at the maps and don't look like a lot of water around me

Any suggestions where to do a quick fishing trip?

People fish at Patriot Park (I think that's the name). It's safe and accessible. Probably gets a lot of pressure but the few times I've been down there somebody has caught a few mixed bag fish.

May try Port Royal park. It's more creek fishing but has fish and is a nice area.

Like said above, lots of fish get caught from the bank all up and down the Cumberland river.

Didn't get to fish today but checked out liberty park. That's a nice place
