Really wanting to give this saddle hunting a try and interested in the Tethrd Phantom setup but not excited to drop 5 Benjamin's for it. Anybody by chance have one they're not using and want to part with? If not I'll buy new but figured I'd check here first.

Tethrd did have a good sale going online a couple days ago
That's what's really pushing me to buy now.
Check out CRUZR too. They are made here in TN (Cookeville). That's what I have and like it. I only have one though :)
I've heard good things out of the cruzr saddles for sure
Please check out other companies like Cruzr, Dryad, TX5, Trophyline, etc. There is a saddle Hunter classifieds on Facebook that has a lot of gear for sale.
Definitely interested in the cruzr too because of them being made in Cookeville. Really wish there was a place to try a bunch out.

Thanks guys!!!!

The way I've seen Rutherford co people drive you could be to Cookeville in no time. I think you can demo them at the cruzr factory?

Talk to Chad at cruzr he would let you come sit in one and see how you like it. I love mine!

I'm an hour and a half from there. I'm about as far south in the county as you can go without leaving it. 😂

He's gotta be a good guy with a name like that. 🤣

That is what I did. I called them and they told me to head on up from Chattanooga. I tried it out on a telephone pole next to the building. Not climbing it but just leaning and sitting. Told them I'd place my order on the website and he said "heck let me tie this bridge on one of these and we'll get you taken care of today". I also prefer the smaller diameter lineman/tether of the 8mm.

how long do these saddles last? like the climbing safety harness usually recommend replacement after 5 years.
i love the idea, but trowing down $3-$400 every 5 years would get old quick.
just curious. thanks!

been interested in it myself lately BUT its mind blowing to me the cost for a saddle and some rope. I mean $650 for a set up WITHOUT STICKS. Just crazy to me the cost of them for what they actually are.
