I just purchased 18acres in Montgomery county. It has 3 acres of field which was done in corn last year. I don't have a tractor or planter yet but do have a large rear tine tiller. What are some options on doing some micro plots or border plots? And how much time do I have to get it ready?

There's several videos on the ole Utube that show people planting plots without equipment, tractors, planters, etc. They're using hand sprayers and seed sowers. I have to ask what are you plans for your ground? You planning on shooting doves opening day, or is whitetail your target this fall? That'll be a factor in your decision of what to plant.

Whitetail and Turkey. I brought a small bucket home of soil to have it tested at Co-op tomorrow. With this tiller I have I can do a lot of damage to some long narrow strips or a couple micro plots just not the entire 3 acres of field. I have a pond at the fields edge about 30x50. I planted 4 fruit trees last weekend, couple apples, peach and pear.
