We own several. Both are hyper accurate but we handload. The 2 level has a fair stock.......you can do better.....Boyds is what I got. The Axis I stock is a joke. I fixed trigger by removing 1/4 circle portions of a coiled spring and testing the result. Seeing as how I expected to be buying a replacement trigger I am extremely pleased with the final result. Trigger pull originally felt like around 9 pounds is for sure down to the 3 level.
The chamber is tight and right at SAAMI specs. Not much use playing with seating depth because you will find yourself engaging the lands upon chambering a round.
I find cleaning the Axis chamber and action to be a real chore. Bolt throw feels like 180 degrees, you can easy get finger in contact with scope.
As for accuracy....Son put 5 rounds through 1 raggedy hole at 100. These were 60 gr partitions on top of 25 grains of H335 and Federal M205GMAR primers. DA is shooting 70 Abonds through his and killing everything he wants, pretty good recommendation.
