We got our butt's handed to us first thing this morning. Two weeks in a row the same bird has out smarted us. After walking away like a whipped pup we heard another bird off in the distance so we made a move on him. It ended up being on the neighboring property on top of a ridge. I threw the kitchen sink at him but he would not budge off of that ridge. We ended up leaving that farm to get breakfast. We went to another farm around 10:30 and got busted walking in. Then we went to the other side of the farm and set up. I made a couple series of yelps. About ten minutes later we see a gobbler strutting on the field edge. 5 minutes later we have a bird on the ground. 11 3/4 beard. 1 3/16 spur and 1 1/8 spur.
