Hay guys I picked up a bag of whitetale institute beats and greens to plant in a small kill plot it says it will be fine to plant the first of August in Tn what's y'alls thoughts

You can find their planting dates on the back of the bag. Just plan it before a rain. My cousin planted it last year and said they crushed it after the first good frost. I have plans to put some in the ground this year too

I haven't planted the beats and greens, but everything else whitetail institute I've planted has done very well and the deer killed it. We've used the No Plow bag and planted usually Labor Day weekend. As long as it's right before a rain, you should be fine

I have their book that I picked up at co-op. Says planting for beets and greens is aug1-sept30
