Note: this is a heads up only. We own 3 of these ($55.00 each) and up until just recent they were performing perfectly. These muffs are two years old and only used at the range. Seems as tho after you have replaced batteries two or three times the cover is no longer secure and will drop off. Then you will find batteries laying around and the muffs are not working. To make matters worse one pair that is used more frequently has completely lost the cushion around your ears. Walkers does not feature replacement parts on their website and some 3rd party wants nearly 50 bucks for replacement cushions. Yes I have gone to Walkers and am waiting on a reply. So my question to all is have you had similar experiences with this or other manufacturer earmuffs, where the cushion becomes useless? The battery thing is irksome but we tape them in and aside from looking weird it works. I have some Silencio muffs 10 years old that are as good as the day I bought them. And some Walker muffs that are not electronic in any way are still working fine.
