I feel like the appeals court will side with the lower court. If there is enough reasonable suspicion of illegal activity to warrant placing cameras or for an officer to trespass on private property then there should be enough to take to a judge and get a warrant. Heck, the warrant can be sealed if there is reason to believe someone would leak it to the subject. It would not hurt my feelings any for the commission to be restructured, and the commissioners face election by hunters/fishermen, instead of being appointed by the governor and legislature. I think they need limits on how long they can serve as well. There are some officials in upper management that may need to be replaced, Director Maxedon isn't one of them yet, he hasn't been in place long enough to have had an impact one way or another as yet. I do feel like he at least listens to people when they reach out to him, and takes their input into consideration, especially if that input is constructive, reasoned out, and articulated well, as opposed to saying just put it back like it was, or just ranting about what is wrong and offering no input for a solution or what you'd like to see changed. Most of the rank and file officers, biologists, and office staff that I have personally dealt with have been great people to deal with.
