That should be a personal decision between you and the Lord. Let me ask you , is it ok to hunt on Sunday as long as you come out of the stand to get to Church? What about if you hunt Sunday morning and go Sunday night or vice versa? I know when I go on Sunday night about half or more of the Sunday morning crowd is not in attendance. Usually those are the self righteous group that go on snapbook and criticize anyone not in attendance on Sunday morning. What if you go on Wednesday night ? Again who are we to judge a man? The statement that God doesn't want you at Church if you are thinking about hunting? So , I guess you are better off to be in the woods in a stand reading your Bible than sitting in a pew thinking about being in a stand? I know this because over the past year some of my closet moments with God have been right up here in my field , not while hunting but just getting alone and speaking with my savior, do not try to tell me that because I wasn't on a pew that it wasn't real. I was somehow under the impression that my relationship with God was not confined to a building but could take place anywhere , anytime and any place. Am I advocating not going to Church? Not at all. What I am advocating is do not tell me when I can or can't hunt based on religion or what you believe is the best thing to do. I see some Churches ( religions) that go on Saturday. Do we need to shut down Saturday also? Remember freedom of religion not force of religion. The example with the businesses closing on Sunday again makes the point of the argument, the owner made that decision and it's their right to do that, but on the same note each man should be able to make his own decisions about hunting or not on Sunday. You see businesses are owned by individuals not a Government agency making decisions for everyone that buys a hunting license. You just made the argument for personal choice! Good job! Again should be the workers choice if he wants to rest or not for the week and what day he does it! Again I am saved , know I am saved , attend Church but simply do not agree with what some states have done. Your not going to pull people in on the pews by trying to force the issue but rather turn them away! Just my opinion and thoughts , they may be way wrong as I am human, I have walked off many gobbling birds to get to Sunday school but was I wrong for even going in the first place? It's simple to me let people make their own decisions and try to help them along the way as an example!

[QUOTE="deerfever, post: 5195419, member: 13434"] I am a conservative Christian but telling a man what days he can hunt is just not right.
