My son killed his first buck; medium size five point. Not a trophy to some, but one to him. The processor slice the skull cap off and gave us back the horns. I have removed all the skin and cleaned it up. I got a piece of barn wood from the old barn he used as his "stand" and want to mount the horns on it. Any ideas on where to find a cover for the skull cap?

Thanks in advance, Wally "FishnFed" and proud dad.

Probably get one from a Taxidermy Supply place like MaKenzie Taxidermy Supply. Think they are still in business in North Carolina. You could try making your own out of a good pliable piece of brown leather.
