Followup to the "want that jawbone thread". With no super mature deer on cam where i live i focused on a smalll farm my family owns. Had a buck show up we named Tank. 5.5 or 6.5. Rack so so, highlighted by and odd point between high g2 and g3 on his left side and a little crab claw point on the other main beam. He showed up yesterday but i was hunting 7 miles away. Got in the tree today at 3 and shot him around 4 chasing a doe. Saw he was fully mature and the crab claw and released an arrow. It wasnt till i got him that i noticed the nontypical point missing. Went back and reviewed the pics and realized they are 2 different bucks. Both were there yesterday. Guess i shot Tank 2. Oh well, neither will be score much but age is the only thing that interests anymore. This dude will make a lot of jerky. Sure wasnt fun dragging him a quarter mile.
