Scenic City Fishing Update

I posted back in early August that I was "back in action," after a bone spur, torn rotator cuff, followed by a ruptured disc put me out-of-service for a good portion of 2010. I am still in action, but I've been pacing myself (and been lazy about posting). Mostly chasing my pet catfish in the Chickamauga Tailwaters. No huge fish... but the "eaters" have been very cooperative.

In the last two weeks I have been mostly pain-free for the first time this year. Finally, once again, life is good and gettin' better every day!

Just thought I'd share of few pictures of the most recent clients. I LOVE my (part-time) job!

Some folks catch 'em year-round. But I like to start checking on them in December. Sometimes we get an excellent winter bite... sometimes not.

Serious pre-spwn action normally starts in February and gets better until end of March... then our spwn begins and mnost fish go shallow.
