I'm going to sight in my CVA Accura this weekend cause I got a new scope. I've shot Hornady SST sabots for years. I want to try the Powerbelt AeroLites this season cause I shoot 100 grains of BH209. Ive heard these are super accurate and easy to load.

Any reviews?

Is there some reason you think a soft lead and light for caliber bullet is going to perform better than the same type of bullet in a centerfire? You dont see plated soft lead 250gr bullets in a 500S&W for a reason.....Most people dont hunt varmints with a 500S&W. :D

The PB Aerolite is one of the most expensive bullets out there. For the same price you can get a solid copper Thor that will not grenade or turn into a pancake on impact.

If you are dead set on the Aerolite at least step upto the 300gr or better yet the 338gr PB Platinum. Its slightly cheaper and little tougher bullet.

Why not Barnes Expanders? The only reason I'll go away from them is if I decide I don't like perfect mushrooms, exit wounds, easy blood trails, and dead deer any more.

I'm loading mine on top of 95 grains of BH209.

Ok so spent time at range today and the 300 grain Aerolites didn't match the accuracy of the 290 grain Barnes Spitfire T-EZ or the 260 grain Scorpion PT Gold.

I'll likely use the 290 grain Barnes or 260 grain Scorpion PT Gold this year.

If you're only planning on 100-150 max, your SST will do everything these will.
Your gun doesn't seem to like the Powerbelt.
Good luck.

The Barnes Tez are what shoots quarter size groups in my Accura with 100gr BH209....straight up puts a hurting on deer. Have shot 6 with it and only one took a step and that was because I shot high
