[QUOTE="Poleaxe, post: 3456269, member: 12090"] Managed to make some happy and some even grumpier. Started yesterday with my old man (the grumpy one) when I put him on the stand and he misses a good 6pt (which is no surprise. Wasn't planning on going in the evening but my brother in law came down and said he hadn't killed a deer in 14yrs and wanted to shoot one. So we went and got his license and off we went with 45min of light to spare. Went to one of my backup spots I hadn't been all year and he scored on a doe. One of my close friends wanted me to take his son but prepping for my son's bday I just didn't have the time so I asked another one our close mutual friend to take him to a spot we been seeing some in the fields. He got him in the blind at 2 and at 315 a couple does came out and he was about to shoot when they heard a buck grunt. Then this one came out at 10yrds. Happy as heck for the both of them.
