I counted my cameras when I got home and it would appear that I put one out last fall and I have no idea where it is. I usually number them, then put a marker with the date I placed it on Google Earth. Evidently one fell through the cracks. It's in the middle of 500 acres of woods somewhere. Guess I better put on my hiking boots while the foliage is off the trees. D'oh!

I GPS the position of all my cameras, and have a database listing every camera position, the date I put the camera there, and the date I removed the camera. That has saved me several times from forgetting where a camera is.

I just found out that the missing camera also has an 8 GB high speed SD card in it and a very expensive python lock and bear box. Why couldn't it have been my old, broken WGIR4?
