Night latch

The Bridger #3 dogless modified 4 coils I've been buying apparently have a night latch built in , product description:
"Fully adjustable pan tension . Pan level is adjustable by a bolt/nut on the frame. Step down night latch incorporated into the pan gives you an audible click as it locks into place"

How do I set this when I make my sets , I'm clueless , thanks

Just set the trap, and lower or level the pan slowly into final position. It will click and stop/catch into place when you reach the night latch. That's it. Any further, and the trap will fire.

I don't ever use the night latch on my MBs. I just set it into the notch all at once

when setting the night latch, flip the loose jaw up so you can move the pan without catching your fingers if you accidently fire the trap.
