Sold/Expired Lowrance Hook 5

I just changed out the electronics on my boat and have this Lowrance Hook 5 left over. It is in very good used condition and comes with the transducer and screen cover. $80 picked up in the Chattanooga/Dunlap area.

I know vertically nothing about these but am thinking about getting some side scan for my parents boat. Is it just the transducer that produces the side scan? Would like to be able to drive by docks/ look for structure /bait etc but without spending a fortune. If this has the ability for side scan I'll definitely take it

This model doesn't have side scan.
