Yeah I thought for sure he wouldn't. Like some on here also said. He had to win out to get it. He didn't and got it anyway. Glad he got it over Herman. LSU will not be as good as if they would have been with TOM.

Jimbo wanted 65mil over ten years. LSU was "only" willing to do 7 years @ 6.5mil/yr.

Herman had verbal agreement with LSU... Then Herman's agent told LSU they were waiting to see Texas offer. LSU told Herman's agent to pound sand and withdrew the offer.
