A few pictures coming in but it appears it was a slow weekend for the kids around here. I'm not predicting anything much better for Saturday. Right now, I doubt if I go.

I'm starting tho think it might be alright. My new hunting partner,(the landowner), said they were gobbling their heads off this morning. He said he could place four different birds.

If they keep that up and it is not raining, might be okay. It is about a 20-minute drive to this new place so I would not have a lot of time invested. I am somewhat looking forward to hunting with someone again. I have hunted alone for the past 10 years or so.

Just came back from walking the property with the landowner. he is indeed a knowledgeable hunter. Saw one bunch of 11-toms of various ages. Don't like it that they are still in a bunch.

If the weather is not nasty, we will probably go. If it is, I suspect we will eat a big, country breakfast and repair to our respective man caves.
