WOW! Where do I start? I always save some vacation time for the week of thanksgiving. I hunt hard during that time. This year is no exception. Did an all day sit Saturday and saw 12-15 deer. A few small bucks and a bunch of does. Sunday morning woke up with a bad headache so I chose to stay in bed. Sunday afternoon zero deer. Monday morning, I get itchy finger and made a decision to shoot a decent 6 pt. Took the rest of the day off and rested it was (pouring rain anyway). Hunted Tuesday morning saw a spike and a doe. Left around 10am. Pulled camera cards before I left the lease. Went home and hunted my backyard. Zero deer. About 7ish last night I popped the cards in my laptop and man o man. On November 10th I had a buck in broad daylight chasing a few does. He disappeared unti 1am Monday (21st) night. I decided then that I best be in the woods this morning. It paid off. To say I'm pumped is an understatement. 13 points. Now time to enjoy the grandkids for a while. I love November #blessed Get in the woods. Play the wind. Enjoy. (For the record I've never been sold on the wind game but I am a believer now)
