It has been state the main reason for these idiot proposals was because of rich people buying blinds. At least that is the wildlife division said. Also, a rich person on the commission said he wanted a place to hunt for a few days but not have to build a blind or basically do any work. And apparently people throw a fit about blinds being bought and sold, which I would understand if the only way to get a public blind would be to be the highest bidder. And the "everybody gets a trophy, life is not fair, I am offended, etc generation" is also behind a lot this. As far as I know, the drawings are fair (other than people who either buy or have many people buy a license in order to draw a blind even though many of the "extra" people do not hunt) but the drawings are fair and everyone throws their name in to a random drawing. As far what is done with a legally drawn blind, why care? Especially since guiding is allowed from blinds that are drawn by the public, which to me is no different than someone who fairly draws a blind in a random drawing, renting or selling the use of the blind which is basically the same thing as the guide is doing. If you read through the threads, there are several who complain about people with more money having an advantage. Funny a commissioner with money helped rig this proposal and push it through. No different than any other crooked politics.
