Just curious… if you had one of these for quiet critter control in the yard, like a skunk, how long can they stay charged? I would guess at the high pressure they are they would leak past seals??

They'll last until an o-ring goes bad, which should take awhile. They're best stored under pressure to keep out outside air (humidity) from causing internal rust.

Mine held out for over a year before the o-rings started leaking. I haven't replaced them yet. I've done the research now I just need to do the work. It's a doable job for most anyone who does their own minor gunsmithing. One just needs to take care when putting things back together.

I have a .25 Air Venturi Avenger. It will hold a full charge for 3 or 4 days. I usually top it off before I go hunting haven if it's just been overnight since I filled it.
