Well I am hard headed sometimes. I went back to my little honey hole spot and set up even though the wind was very inconsistent. I sat in a different area on the farm still covering the same brushy ridge. I also used different calls. The wind shifted and blew right where I expected them to come. I started hearing barks and short howls as my wind blew toward them.Just for fun I played a locator tape and heard at least 5 different dogs on the ridge. I've killed a bunch of coyotes over the years but, have not been this stupid and called even though conditions were not good. My question is how long do I give these boogered coyotes before I go back in better conditions and different calls still yet?
