Thinking about switching to Hevi-13 or the new Hevi Mag. Blend to use with the Rhino .660 in my 870 this spring.

You guys that have used the Hevi-13, what should I expect my longest ethical kill shot to be. My 870 has the 26" barrel and I plan on polishing the inside also.

I hunt in the woods mostly, but also have pastures I can hunt but the turkey's tend to stay out towards the middle.

I also shoot a Rhino out of my 870/23"
and the 3" Hevi 13 #5s dont pattern any better than
Win Supremes or x-Range
I dont personally shoot past 40 yds
I figure if I cant get them any closer than 40 then I dont
need to take the shot but thats just me

Well I have 3 boxes left of the Win Sup. #5's.... may just polish my barrel and then try the Rhino choke and see what I come up with.

The hevi-13 shoots the best out of my 870 supermag.

I ordered a couple boxes of the Mag Blend with 5,6,7 hevi-shot. Going to try it with the Rhino.
