Better than my pull today, and one less egg eater! :tu:
Exactly! This is on the goat, sheep, chicken, duck, goose, etc. farm. The farmer asked what could be skillfully opening the chicken eggs without breaking them and eating the insides. I got to show him the critter likely responsible.

Not meaning to hijack but....the whole skunk thing is something I've been dreading so please share. If you catch a one do you just dispatch from a ways back(like 10-15 yards) and try to make a vitals shot? I read something that said your odds of not winding up wearing everyone's least favorite cologne are increased by heart/lung shots as opposed to head. Anyone have an opinion as to the validity of that?

On the skunks, very slowly get close enough to shoot broadside behind the shoulder, a little low, with a .22 CB. Then slowly back away. They will be dead in about a minute. I did this twice and neither sprayed. I also tried to head shoot a few with a regular .22 LR, and they always sprayed.
