I'm OVER working on this kinda stuff .. So, bought this from a guy in his 70's. He let his grandkids take turns riding it in his yard all day .. leaving it in 2nd or 3rd gear. Burnt the centrifugal clutch up. I bought a new clutch and hub, installed. Grabs IMMEDIATELY now, but slips once you get going. So, bought the shift clutches and new springs for the pressure/tension plate, installed yesterday.. exact same outcome in Hi or Low. The only thing I don't fully get is how you adjust the clutch. My Hondas and Suzukis were a 1 screw adjustment.. easy. This one is a 2 screw and they have to be timed together basically. I really don't think there's another thing left that could make it slip, but I'm over it at this point.
