Yep. I catch all of mine like that and its much easier than driving a stake. One cable with two loops crimped and a quick link. On to the next spot.Tie wire around tree
Same here. All of ours are just like this. BUT like @CATCHDAWG mentioned, I clear everything around the tree. If they can grab a greenbrier or even a root of woody browse, they will pull out if big enough. Most trees we use are about 3"-8" in diameter.
