I made a batch of DIY Ballistic gel I didn't have any cinnamon leaf oil to clarify it so it is a bit dark. Made seeing the wound channel impossible. I cut it open and the wound channel was impressive. I will test a 336 grain slug nest on high power for a comparison. The goal today was determine if the 185 grain on low power would create a fatal wound channel and it did. it completely spanned the the entire length of the 6" X 6" X 13" block with a 1 inch wide wound channel and lots of fragmentation. I suspect the 336 grain will produce a lot more trauma and a much more devastating wound channel. The slow mo is sort of grainy but it shows a lot more impact and movement of the block. Regular speed https://youtu.be/Wnqe7HZxBU4 Slo-mo speed. https://youtu.be/AyeMhFGEhKc On my desk top in slow mo frame by frame you can see the block undulating like it does on Myth Busters. However, I don't have good enough video equipment to transfer it here.
