From time to time, I love a medium boiled egg. I had a craving for a couple tonight. I went the through eight getting me two the way I wanted.

Wife finally got P-O and fixed them for me.

Then they made me sick.

What is a medium boiled egg? With a runny yolk?

When I was pregnant, I couldn't stand to smell eggs. But they were pretty much the only protein I could eat. It was quite a conundrum.

Saw a bacon and egg dish on Food Network this weekend. Restaurant in Napa Valley serves bacon and egg. Bacon is a thick (1" or so) cut of the belly and the egg is a medium boiled egged, shelled and then deep fried. It sure looked good.

Boil the egg for 3 minutes. Crack the top off with a spoon. Spoon the egg into a little hot oil and flash fry just enough to solidify slightly. Serve over the top of a piece of toast.

The trick is to get it solid enough to hold its' shape during transfer. That is the differece between soft boiled and medium boiled.

I likes an aborted chicken every now and then.

Green Doe- I might be pregnant. Seems my daughter and I have many of the same symptoms except she is gaining weight and I am losing weight.
