It beats a hot stick in the eye! Went Saturday early....no beauty show winners for me but my buddy sure did find a nice 3"+, 95% complete drill - the best find of the day. He beat me out of a dollar for the first point and the best point. After the ground began to thaw it kinda ended the day.

Stovepipe, The larger piece is probably an unfinished celt that has been beat to death over the years and not pottery. The photo does not show it but the bit end is tapered. Polishing is all this piece would need. If it is not then I should have left it in the field...lol. The field it was found in is not known for high quality points but the quantity is always there. All of these were found in Cheatam County and Dickson County.
