Ran across some Robinson Crabaples and may pick them up , I assume it's not the #1 preferred crabapple for deer but has anyone had and success with this particular species ?

I've always thought of Robinson crabapple being more of an ornamental/landscape tree. I have a few planted along my driveway, and the fruit is very small. I've never seen deer eating them, but the birds like them.

Same for me. I don't know if they are Robinsons, but they are very small. Only seen birds eating them. i didn't realize at the time there were multiple sizes of crabapples.
