My wife has 0 interest in shooting ducks and that's what I live for. But she'll deer hunt, has her own rifle and everything. She don't go much cause I'm always hunting and we have small children. But have begged her to come shoot a duck and she said she don't like to be wet or cold and no ways she's going to happy being both at the same time!
She may would come sit next to the heater in a blind, but I mainly hunt timber so it's a nogo for her.

She's only been duck hunting a few times. She doesn't like the cold either. I knew this would be an easy comfortable hunt. I got her a beretta a300 20ga that she been using. I love hunting out of layout blinds. Can take a heck of a nap.

But she does like to come watch her Dixie retrieve. Spoiled rotten that mutt 😂.

Love that picture! You da' MAN! :)

My wife hates getting up early, hates being cold, and hates being bored. Well, there goes deer hunting! ;)

in our business we deal with the major players in the waterfowl business. I have no interest in it at all, but will gladly take their money lol. One of the larger guys i deal with has made a fortune of it (he inherited the farmland in arkansas). he is a deer and turkey hunter by passion. He says most duck hunters are socialites. Its more about a fancy pit and the food and comraderie than the ducks. I guess that what i have always gravitated to deer, squirrel and turkey. I want to get away from folks, not sit in a phone booth with em lol
