Not a whole lot will. Opening day of rifle season is the same weekend. We do though. Expect to see rut activity but not bruiser bucks.

I've got drawn the past 3 years with my buddies. Didn't see a single deer in the woods last year though. Camping with good friends is priceless though.

I used to hunt there 10-15 years ago. IMO, they allowed too many bucks to be killed...wiped it out. But, I have heard that things have been better the last few years. My most vivid memories of Chuck Swan are climbing hills steeper than a horses face with my 40lbs Old style Tree Lounge and 20lbs. backpack until my tongue was dragging the ground :) !!!!

i put in on the gun hunts this year,its close & i like it,just wish i could boat over to it but thats against the rules,mike243

Ive hunted Chuckswan for years and its a great place to hunt and camp with your buddies.We always see deer on bow hunts.
