Cheatham duck blinds

hey guys, I looked at the TWRA duck blind draw info and didnt see any info on Cheatham draws this weekend. I probably just didnt notice it but is Cheatham having a draw this year or is Old Hickory the only Nashville area draw this weekend? Thanks in advance for any info.

Yup they are having a draw this year, its at the same place it has always been. But if you go and get drawn be ready to build. 0 duck blinds survived the flood at Cheatham.

Thanks Spoon, can you tell me where the drawing is held? With 0 blinds left standing maybe I'll get lucky!

It is at the check in area at the WMA. If you get picked early get 24, 20 or 21. Two years ago we got 20 and had a very productive season.

I had heard that they are expecting several hundred less folks this year. Usually about 1000 show but expecting 700. I think the weekend warriors will stay away or go to Old Hickory.

Think I heard 790 something attended the drawing at Cheatham, and 1,430 something drew at Dover.

799 total, I was a single and drew blind 23 with the 31st pick. Does anybody have any history on this one? I think it might be in the same area as some better blinds. Thanks, everyone have a good and safe hunting season.
