The SFP model was never a grand. The FFP model is upto a couple hundred more ACTUAL retail. Dont confuse retail and MSRP because they often dont jive.

That deal at $434.49 at natchez, is on sale at $294.51 off their normal price. Their normal retail is $729. Optics planet also has the same model at $719. So $400 is still a good price imo for a basically new scope, with rings, that carries a lifetime no questions asked warranty.
