[QUOTE="13pt, post: 5528948, member: 19602"] First, thanks to everyone for the congrats and kind words. There was way too many posts to reply to everyone, and I was shocked at how many commented. He’s no doubt an 8pt of a lifetime which is why I felt it should be shared. Many thanks!! Several asked about the score and some asked what county in which it was killed. It was taken in Putnam County. I scored it fairly quickly, but I’ve scored a ton of bucks so I know this is close. Some wanted to know specifically about the G-2’s. One was 13.5” and the other 13”. The total score w/o mass included was 116” and the mass was just under 30”. It does have a sticker at the base which is right at 1”. So, 147” gross. Below I’ve attached some pics of the jawbone and would love some feedback. I feel I’m great at judging age on the hoof, but leave the judging of tooth wear to the experts. I’m taking these to the local TWRA office soon to get their expert opinion. The guy I use is a veteran at aging and use to do it at Catoosa WMA for a very long time. But, some of you I know are very good at this, so here you go. Sorry about the pink stuff. Something the taxidermist put in it and I scraped as much off as I could. Thanks again everyone!!
