Rained a bit last night and i woke up hurtin from the low pressure. Poured the coffee and sat in the recliner for awhile. 7:00 rolls around and my head starts to thinkin i should walk down back to the hay field and sit in the blind for a bit. In my shorts and crocks i grab my leafy jacket and Franchi and start to walkin. I round the curve and start peeking thru the trees. I catch a glimpse of a jake and hen and slowly hit my knees. I ease up a bit and crawl yes crawl up behind a big oak . I am looking at the jake when catch movement out of my left eye. Dam if it aint 5 longbeards in strut at 35 yrds drooling over another hen . I am thinking this is over in a heartbeat as i slip into a sitting position. Nope they still strutting and the jake and hen are working their way closer to the group. I get my gun up and wait for seperation and the rest is history and in the books!!! I have been struggling but when it is meant to be it seems easy 🙏 Thanks for listening
