Nice Bergara with the Vortex Viper 30mm 6x24x50 AO. Very accurate, thought I'd get into long range shooting but just don't have the eyes for that anymore. Maybe 60 rounds through it. Perfect shape.

$1200 for rifle and scope

I did hoist this heavy rifle into my treestand two seasons ago and took this buck at 196 yrds (laser rangefinder). Easy Peesy ... dropped in 10 yrds with a double lung shoot through. I like the Creedmore for deer, so much that I bought a second Bergara in 6.5 CM ... but the Stalker model which is considerably lighter to tote. It shoots darn well also.

Bump for an awesome setup. I have its twin, it's my "bean field" rifle.
They are indeed great for that. What bullet do you use? Seems everyone raves about the 143 ELDX but mine is really accurate with 120 grainers, and with the added FPS of those, the Nosler 120 Ballistic Tips really do some damage on the soft skin whitetails. Probably not so good on elk, but I don't elk hunt. I like the 123 gr SST's also.

I got weak. I have three. Two 6.5's, which is why I'm selling this one. Keeping my Stalker model, easier to tote in the woods.

My other Bergara is the BMR .22 with carbon barrel. This one groups so well, that I sold my Ruger Precision because the Bergara grouped better.

I was always a Ruger fan, still like them and have several, but Bergara being the new kid on the block (though they've produced precision barrels for years) sure is building a reputation for quality.

My other Begara is the BMR .22 with carbon barrel. This one groups so well, that I sold my Ruger Precision because the Begara grouped better.

How long have you had your Stalker? That’s my favorite Bergara model.
